We will be visiting the Fractured Prune Doughnut Shop (47192 Michigan Ave. in the strip mall in front of Kohl’s) on Wednesday, May 13 at 6:00. The manager will take us on a tour of the kitchen to watch how the batter is made, how doughnuts are cooked, and how the glaze is made. The tour is $5 per child which includes a doughnut and a drink (adults are free). If your child would like to glaze and decorate a doughnut at a do-it-yourself station after the tour, it would be an additional $2.50. This should be a very fun event, and we hope to see everyone there!
