Autumn fun on our playground!
They label the animals on the smart table.
Reading together in the reading cube.
Calendula flowers are still growing in our garden! The kids picked a bouquet for our snack table.
He gets a reading lesson from Mrs. Arras.
We watched a busy ant colony under one of the mats on our playground. Some of the children were interested in the worms we also found, and they held them for a closer look!
We pulled out the dried up zinnias today! It was hard garden work-the children pulled the flowers out, and then shook the dirt off of the roots and put them in our compost pile. We saw lots of team work, and lots of mighty kids!
He builds with the head, body, and feet global children blocks.
Putting on snow pants, pulling on boots, zipping a winter coat, and getting fingers into gloves can be a challenge for many preschool children. We are starting early! He tries on our “practice set” of winter clothes that we have out at work time. Hopefully, this will help lead to more independence!
Digging up a few carrots today in the garden. One of the children gently showed the children a poly bug he found, before releasing it in the garden. We love how our preschoolers already respect nature at such a young age!
