Digging up a few carrots today in the garden. One of the children gently showed the children a poly bug he found, before releasing it in the garden. We love how our preschoolers already respect nature at such a young age!
We looked inside a pumpkin today!
Favorite snack so far this year? Broccoli! Some children had seconds and thirds! Thank you to Mrs. Arras for bringing in a steamer.
He builds with magnets from the science shelf.
She cuts a fringe around some beautiful, painted paper we had leftover from an art project.
He practices his scissor skills by cutting leaves and other objects found in nature.
This morning and afternoon, a heavy rain kept us inside for recess. We had fun bumping the parachute to music!
He builds words with the letter tiles, and then writes them with the wipe off marker.
Fun times at the apple orchard/cider mill! We were so glad so many of you could make it!
On our science shelf, we have a basket of GERMS! Actually, they are plush microbes-what tiny germs and bacteria would look like if greatly magnified and made into stuffed toys. Abby and Violet hold the stomach ache and flu microbe. They are reading a book about hand washing!
